Hi, I'm Rachel! I'm a new mom and passionate yogini (400 hr Certified Yoga Teacher).
This is me 8 months pregnant with my son, Bear. In this photo I am feeling strong, calm, connected to my heart/mind/body, centered, and ready for birth. This is all thanks to a strong yoga practice, excellent advisors around me (such as my OBGYN & Doula), and a supportive partner.
While I'm not a doctor or your birth partner, I'm committed to creating a safe space to foster connection, practice movement, and cultivate inner calm.
The pregnancy journey is a lot more than what happens to the body on the outside. There is an entire shift that happens inside of a woman when she becomes a mother and I'm passionate about cultivating a practice that welcomes this shift, fosters self compassion, and grows the strength of the mind/body connection through breath.
Pandemic pregnancy doesn't have to be lonely and scary. In community there is strength, empathy, connection, and power.
I am currently offering virtual and in-person private yoga sessions. I also teach in person vinyasa flow classes @yoganestvenice in Venice, CA.
